WeDress as New Bohemian for Summer

The New Bohemian trend makes us long for faraway places!

The long winter sleep has finally come to an end and the summer meets us with a gladly seen again trend: New Bohemian. Playful dresses, tie-dye patterns, shells, fringes and floral patterns characterize the Boho style. The trend is very versatile and can be worn casually with sneakers or chic with high heels. We show you beautiful boho-inspired pieces that you can borrow for the summer, so you don't have to buy anything new.

Where does the trend come from?

Boho style really became popular with the appearance of Sienna Miller at the Glastonbury Festival in 2004. Kate Moss, Mischa Barton and Lindsay Lohan are also associated with boho style. Their style included long flowing skirts, tunics, cropped jackets, large belts made of faux coins, cowboy boots, loose cardigans and "hobo bags". The demand for this style was so great that large fashion chains produced boho-style pieces in large quantities. However, the term bohemian appeared about 200 years ago and was associated with intellectuals, artists:inside and writers:inside.

Boho style keeps making its comeback and is regularly rediscovered and integrated into the collections of designers. The current interpretation of bohemian chic, The New Bohemian, features elements such as tie-dye, crochet knits, fringes, statement jewelry, all-over prints and linen.

All-over prints

Dresses in summery patterns and colors are essential for the New Bohemian, the motto "less is more" is definitely not a given here.
