It's all about NICOLE ADLER

Meet the WeDressers
Collage of photos with Nicole Adler

Wonderful Nicole Adler – fashion editor, writer, host, and editor of the city guide Series ‚for women only‘, probably the prettiest travel guides available. We are absolutely thrilled she has joined our community and shares some of her beloved pieces with us.

What is your favorite piece of clothing?

I don’t want to commit myself to one thing, I love to experiment and always need variety as well as surprises… But I love my Petar Petrov pantsuits. They are perfect in fit, color, and style – coolness meets elegance and sex appeal. Apart from that, I like to wear overalls, in all kinds and variations. All in one, with a great belt. Boots by Rani Bageria or very high Jimmy Choo’s.

Which wardrobe would you like to rent and why?

More than wardrobes, I would like to rent archives. YSL would be my absolute dream (everything that existed in the ’70s), Halston, Gucci (archive of the ’70s and also Tom Ford era), Chloé, and Helmut Lang (originals). Well, I also would love to rent from iconic ladies that I admire, such as Carine Roitfeld, singer Lou Dillon, Loulou de la Falaise (muse of YSL), or Rosa Langenbein (style director of mytheresa.com)...

Who or what inspires you the most? Why?

In the past, it was definitely traveling and in the course of my journalistic work: the people I was able to meet. Of course also the nightlife, music, sets, and productions. Photography and exhibitions, especially when art meets fashion such as Martin Margiela. Today it’s a little different depending on the situation. I am no longer exclusively concerned with fashion and its presentation, but write about women and get involved in various creative areas. I ask myself questions about socio-political issues such as feminism, body images, ecology, and sustainability in the areas of design and fashion.

What do you like the most about WeDress Collective?

Our wardrobes are full, often overly full – we hardly wear many items that we own, or sometimes nothing at all. But we don’t want to give them to the vintage shop, for example. I always invite friends to light up, freshen up or swap wardrobes. and now to lend and rent with WeDress :-).
